Class Poem: "Remember When?"

By Tonna Jones

Remember the laughs?

Remember the cries?

Remember the years,

As they quickly passed by?

Remember running craftily down the halls?

Trying to beat the tardy bell,

Cutting through the library,

More times than we can tell?

Remember cramming information in,

Just before the test?

Putting our heads down and praying to God,

That He would save us from jest?

Remember the pep rallies?

Screaming louder than the rest?

We were the class of '97.

We knew, even then, we were the best.

Then after the cheering,

Standing proudly hand in hand.

Singing, Hail to thee our Alma Mater,

Participating with the greatest band.

Remember the "dawn" of '97?

Saying, "We just can't wait!"?

Until we walk across the stage,

Till we grad-u-ate!

But, most of all, remember

Friendships made, sorrows shared,

Bonds of sweet and lingering memories,

That lie forever within our heads?

John L. LeFlore, you gave us memories,

Fashioned and framed us for this, our day.

You, our dear old Alma Mater,

We owe you thanks we can never repay.

The Senior Class Video

The TV production class, under the direction of Mr. Brunson, put together the senior class video. Several of our classmates served as producers and captured key moments from our last year of high school

Senior Prophecies

Towards the end of our senior year, we were asked to make predictions as to where we would be in the next five-to-ten years.
